Gourmet Egypt:

For breakfast during my stay in Cairo, the hotel buffet was delicious, so I ate a lot there.。So I often spent time without eating lunch.。And for dinner, the local staff treats you to a high-class Egyptian restaurant.、Having dinner with the people who participated in the lecture (again at a high-end restaurant)、I didn't have a chance to go to a local restaurant.。So on the last day of my stay, I pestered Mr. Kawakita (fluent in Arabic) of the Japan Foundation Cairo, who guided me around Old Cairo.、I was allowed to join a nameless local food stall。I don't know how to order as there is no menu.。This is what Mr. Kawakita asked me for a suitable set meal.。A set meal of the classic national dish "Foul"。Food stalls that you want to eat at least once when you come abroad。Fine dining was good too.、This one seems to be my favorite。Fava bean croquette (Tamiya) and fried eggplant (Moussaka)、Served with Egyptian pita bread (Aish)。delicious!

This is the Arabic coffee I drank in Old Cairo Castle、A style of brewing finely ground beans without filtering and drinking the skim。It has a wild flavor。
